This page brings together the key information you need to prepare for your stay at Le Bourgis. If anything is still unclear, please don't hesitate to contact us.

All our rooms are upstairs, with two separate access points: Blanche on one side, Sahara and Grenier on the other.
La Grange is a 50m² lodge and the only space with ground-floor sleeping.

Chambre Blanche: bathroom within the room.
Sahara and Grenier: an independent room or a two-room suite, with a bathroom and separate WC just next door on your own small landing.
La Grange lodge: on the mezzanine, 1 bed at 160cm and 2 beds at 80cm; on the ground floor, 1 extra-comfort 160cm sofa bed — it's this ground-floor bed that makes La Grange level-access.

Le Bourgis is a guest house: we favour a simple, attentive, personal welcome.
Arrivals generally take place between 6pm and 9pm, by arrangement.
We can sometimes welcome you earlier, depending on our availability.
If we can't be there when you arrive, we'll send you everything you need to get into the house and your room.

Rooms must be vacated by 11:30am at the latest. You're of course welcome to stay on the property after checking out of your room.
Breakfast is served 8:30am to 10:30am.
Before 8:30am, it will be set out self-service in the reception area.

Two doorbells, outside and inside, are available: please allow a moment for us to answer if needed.

The ROOM rates shown on this site are our direct rates — the best available.

They include:

  • the accommodation,
  • the cleaning fee,
  • bed and bath linen,
  • continental breakfast (charged separately for La Grange)
  • transaction fees and tourist tax.

Between 15 June and 15 September, room stays are offered from two nights.
To welcome you in the best conditions, please let us know your arrival and departure times before you come.

Depending on the situation and our availability, early or late arrival/departure can sometimes be arranged.

La Grange is bookable for a minimum two-night stay, all year round (not just in summer). A discount applies to the nightly rate for longer stays: -10% from 4 nights, -20% from 6 nights.
It can also be rented by the day or half-day (classes, workshops, events), bookable directly online — see the rates page for full amounts.

For direct bookings:

  • free cancellation up to 3 days before arrival,
  • at J-3: a refund of 50% of the room amount may be possible,
  • at J-2, J-1 or on the day of arrival: the booking is no longer refundable.

The terms of any booking platform apply to reservations made through it. The booking becomes effective once payment is received.

If the cancellation is on our part, the full stay will be refunded.

Payments can be made:

  • online by card (PayPlug),
  • by PayPal,
  • by bank transfer or cheque, depending on timing,
  • on site by card (SumUp) or cash.

French cheques and "chèques vacances" are accepted, with the corresponding surcharge.
Booking directly generally gets you a better rate than booking through a platform.

Chambre Blanche: 2 people, with the possibility of a young child depending on the situation.
Sahara / Grenier suite: up to 4 people.
La Grange: 6 people

The Sahara / Grenier layout involves a staircase, which makes it less suited to very young children.
La Grange offers 50m² with a simple kitchenette (fridge, microwave, sink — no cooking facilities), making it particularly well suited to stays with children.

Children remain the responsibility of their parents for the whole of their stay.

Le Bourgis is a quiet place: we take care to preserve that for everyone.

Pets cannot be accommodated, in particular because of our resident cats (who aren't allowed into the rooms).
Horses can be stabled nearby on request.

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate, and optional for La Grange, where you can also be self-sufficient (fridge, kettle, microwave)

It's prepared with care and includes:

  • bread, AOP croissants,
  • hot drinks (teas, coffee, hot chocolate, herbal infusions, milk),
  • homemade jams,
  • farm dairy products (yoghurts, farmhouse butter),
  • Perche honey,
  • organic cereals,
  • fresh seasonal fruit,
  • fruit juices (local organic apple juice, orange juice).

A fuller, English-style breakfast can be offered for an extra charge on request (12 €): eggs (boiled, scrambled, fried), ham, matured cheeses.

Service: 8:30am – 10:30am. For very early departures, everything will be prepared and left for you self-service.

When our table d'hôtes is open, we can cook for up to six people. Dishes are made to order, so advance booking is required.

We offer:

  • the Menu: 32 €
  • the "Petit Chef" Menu: 52 €
  • the gourmet plate: 26 €
  • plus a few à la carte options, and children's menus.

Cooking is entirely homemade, with real care given to the quality of ingredients, often organic or local.
Please let us know about any allergies or dietary preferences.
We also have a wine list, and you can enjoy a homemade cocktail, a spritz, or other aperitifs.

When the table isn't open, you can also enjoy our homemade dishes in jars on site, available around the clock to reheat, help yourself.

You're welcome to occasionally bring a picnic if needed. That said, the house isn't set up like a self-catering cottage — there's no kitchen available to guests.

If you bring your own drinks, a corkage fee may apply.
We hold a Licence III and a full catering licence.

Parking is available on the property, at the garden entrance. There's no closed garage, but the car park is secure (sensor, camera).
Two spaces (P1 and P2) are reserved for the rooms. You can also park right next to La Grange's entrance.

A closed bike shelter is available, and we also offer electric bike rental.

Electric vehicle charging is possible via a dedicated 16A socket, billed according to consumption.

The rooms are prepared with care:

  • comfortable bedding (Blanche and Sahara: 160 cm bed, Grenier: 140 cm),
  • bed and bath linen provided,
  • TV (Blanche, Sahara),
  • free wifi,
  • toiletries,
  • hairdryer,
  • child equipment on request.

We'd simply ask you to keep room doors closed so the cats don't get in.
Please take particular care with water use. The house water goes through a CO²-based treatment system that limits limescale build-up while keeping its mineral properties.

In the shared space: complimentary hot drinks, filtered water, kettle and mugs provided. Minibar priced à la carte, with sodas, fruit juices, local organic wines and beers.

The Lodge space has been carefully renovated — it isn't a gîte, since cleaning, sheets and bath linen are all provided. It's rented for a minimum of 2 days, rather than by the week as is often the case elsewhere.

  • on the mezzanine upstairs: 1 low bed at 160cm, 2 low beds at 80cm
  • on the ground floor: 1 extra-comfort 160cm sofa bed, a raised sleeping surface (unlike the low beds on the mezzanine)
  • bed and bath linen provided,
  • free wifi,
  • toiletries,
  • large windows with sheers and blackout thermal curtains
  • quiet, with a garden view
  • fridge, microwave, sink, crockery (no cooking facilities, just reheating)
  • complimentary tea, coffee, decaf, herbal infusions
  • minibar: chilled water, organic apple juice, local organic beers (priced à la carte)
  • reversible air-to-air heat pump: ideal for quickly cooling or heating the space
  • small shower room, a 140x80cm shower spanning the full depth of the room, WC

Please take particular care with water use. The house water goes through a CO²-based treatment system that limits limescale build-up while keeping its mineral properties.

The house entrance uses a keypad code, giving you complete flexibility. La Grange is accessed by key.

High-speed wifi is freely available, with no password. That said, the house's thick walls can limit mobile signal quality — calls over wifi are recommended.

Some rooms have a TV connected to satellite digital TV; there's no screen in the Lodge.

Geobiology and grounding: the house has been the subject of a geobiological survey, and certain precautions have been taken to limit exposure to electromagnetic disturbance.

Le Bourgis isn't trying to exclude technology, but rather to find a thoughtful balance between modern comfort and the quality of the environment — something that guests sensitive to electromagnetic fields may particularly appreciate.

Your stay can also be a chance to take some time for yourself.

Depending on availability, Nicolas offers on site:

  • Reiki sessions,
  • energy healing,
  • guided meditations.

These are simply there to complement your stay, in a spirit of relaxation, presence and reconnecting with yourself.

Depending on the period, we can sometimes also arrange for outside professionals (massage, sophrology, etc.), subject to availability.

If you're interested, it's best to mention it when you book. Find out more

The cleaning fee is charged once per stay. It covers the full preparation of the room and the upkeep of the relevant spaces.

Shared areas are cleaned daily.
To protect your privacy, we don't enter rooms while you're out, unless specifically asked to.
We're happy to change bath towels on request.
A laundry package for washing personal items is available.
The lodge isn't a self-catering gîte, so there's no washing machine; a laundry service is available on request, for an extra charge.

Depending on the moment, a few products may be available:

  • homemade jams,
  • herbal teas from the garden,
  • dishes and desserts in jars.

Feel free to ask us what's available during your stay.

Your personal data remains strictly confidential.

Your rental agreement can be sent to you on request.
A paper or electronic invoice can also be issued.
